A great way to reduce our carbon footprint Plato suggested was to stop throwing recyclable materials in the garbage.  Aluminum and plastic were accepted at the recycle center, so Pepper and Plato decided to start separating those items into containers they could keep in the backyard, hanging on nails in the fence.  They added up quickly because Grams walked the neighborhood and uncle Mikey saved his fair share too.
